Reinvigorating Degraded Land
In April 2024, TCP Vietnam launched “TCP – Hanh trinh vi mot Viet Nam xanh” (Journey for a Green Vietnam), a CSR campaign focused on restoring coastal protective forests in the degraded lands of Phuoc Thuan commune. Partnering with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the initiative planted 2,700 Lim xet trees across 9 hectares, while hosting public engagement activities to raise environmental awareness.

The Challenge
The protective coastal forests at Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, Xuyen Moc district, once lush and vibrant, had become severely degraded. This loss threatened biodiversity, weakened natural climate defenses, and reflected broader environmental degradation issues across Vietnam. Corporate and community collaboration was urgently needed to restore ecological integrity and strengthen climate resilience.
The Action
TCP Vietnam collaborated with government and local stakeholders to organize a tree planting event and environmental seminar. Over 100 representatives from government and TCP Vietnam staff participated. The campaign planted 2,700 native Lim xet trees across 9 hectares of degraded forest. A thematic seminar addressed sustainable development and environmental protection, reinforcing public and institutional support for nature-based solutions.
The Impact
One Atmosphere’s Role
As the campaign’s communications partner, EloQ Communications developed and executed the overarching CSR communications strategy. This included strategic content consultation, visual identity creation, and content production for TCP Vietnam’s platforms. EloQ’s storytelling helped amplify impact and position TCP Vietnam as a climate-conscious brand.
