Zeroboard: Elevating Corporate Value Through Climate-Driven Insights

Southeast Asian companies face growing pressure to demonstrate sustainable practices—both to attract international investors and navigate emerging carbon regulations. Enter Zeroboard, a Japan-based cloud platform designed to help businesses accurately calculate, manage, and report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, while embedding sustainability into corporate strategy.

At its core, Zeroboard streamlines GHG accounting with potent tools for collecting emissions data (e.g. fuel, energy consumption), automated calculations, and customizable dashboards to visualize trends and forecast reduction scenarios. Beyond basic reporting, the platform supports disclosure across Scope 1-3 emissions and product-level footprints—a key requirement as global buyers demand transparency in supply chain sustainability.

“Zeroboard is more than a tool—it’s a bridge between today’s operations and tomorrow’s low-carbon economy,” says Tomoo Machiba, Managing Director of the research arm of the company (Zeroboard Research Institute) and advisor to One Atmosphere. “We’re seeing a strong appetite among ASEAN companies not just to comply, but to compete—and climate transparency is quickly becoming part of that value proposition.”

What truly sets Zeroboard apart is its holistic ecosystem. The platform integrates with green finance providers, emissions-reduction technology vendors, and policy partners to help companies not only measure emissions, but actively reduce them. This end-to-end approach is already gaining traction in the region: in Thailand, Zeroboard has partnered with Rojana Industrial Park to help manufacturers benchmark and cut emissions. In the Philippines, a recent MOU with PEZA enables ecozone firms to pursue green certification pathways.

“Our advising services, in collaboration with One Atmosphere, focus on capability-building for local teams,” adds Machiba. “That way, companies can lead their own transition journey with confidence, grounded in local context and supported by regional expertise.”

For Southeast Asian enterprises, Zeroboard delivers measurable benefits: improved ESG credibility, readiness for green finance, and enhanced investor trust—all critical drivers of corporate value in a decarbonizing world.oa-icon
